Difference Between PP And SMS Nonwovens

Medical non-woven fabrics, the commonly used polymer material is PP, that is, polypropylene as a raw material spinneret made of non woven fabrics, because PP has no hydrophilic group, so the surface of non-woven fabrics should be sprayed with a very small amount of 0.5% hydrophilic oil agent.

Difference between PP and SMS Nonwovens (PP S2040)

The material is made of fibers.

The full name of PP is polypropylene, and the Chinese name is polypropylene. NW is short for Nonwoven, which is either nonwoven or nonwoven. Is the fiber through the air flow or machinery into a net, and then after spunlaced, acupuncture, or hot rolling reinforcement after finishing the formation of no woven cloth.

PPNW stands for nonwoven fabric made of PP fiber. Due to the nature of PP itself, the cloth after the performance is strong, but the hydrophilicity is poor. The usual process flow of PPNW is spinning into mesh and hot rolling reinforcement. PPNW is widely used in sterilization pouches, surgical protective gown, industrial cloth, etc.

SMS non-woven fabric (English :Spunbond+Meltblown+Spunbond

Nonwovens is a composite nonwoven fabric, which is a composite product of spunbonded and melt-blown. It has the advantages of high strength, good filtration performance, no adhesive, non-toxic and so on. At present, it is mainly used for medical and health labor protection products, such as surgical gowns, surgical caps, protective gowns, hand washing gowns, handbags, etc.

S stands for spunbond, which translates into spunbonded non woven fabric in Chinese; M stands for Meltblown, Chinese translation of Meltblown non-woven cloth. In the process of non-woven fabric, there is a sandwich structure material called SMS, which is a spunbonded meltblown spunbonded structure. This material combines the characteristics of strong spunbonded fabric and good barrier of meltblown fabric, and is often used in medical medical materials. We don't use the abbreviations you mentioned.

SMP, I think it's spunbond melt-blown composite, using PP material.

SM is for Spunmelt.

SSPP is spunbond, with PP material. In general, SS is the representation of two layers of spunbond.

1. Changes in internal microscopic properties occur after antivirus

The main material of medical nonwoven fabric is polypropylene, which is processed through melt-blown and spunbonded process through multiple processes, and its microstructure is fine plastic fiber. Shrinkage after high temperature is the characteristics of plastic goods, high temperature resistant plastic is not, and high temperature resistance is also a relative concept, so it will also have the corresponding shrinkage reaction on the micro.

2. Aseptic barrier performance is lost after use

According to research, the shelf life of sterile articles is closely related to the thickness and the number of coating layers of medical non woven fabric. After a series of high-temperature steam antivirus and chemical washing, the fiber structure is deformed, the hole is sparse, the thickness is reduced, and even the small hole is not detectable to the naked eye. The bacteria resistance rate will suddenly decrease, or the bacteria resistance performance will be lost.

So used medical non-woven fabric, no matter use how long, no matter use what it made things, those who use shall be thrown away after using, because the hospital many germs, doctors in treating patients are using it will unknowingly brought many germs, so in order to cut off the route of transmission, prevent infection, who used shall be disposed of, It can no longer be used.

What is Self Seal Sterilization Pouches

self seal sterilization pouches  is carried out in hospitals and medical or surgical sterilization manufacturing plants. Most packaging must be sterile when delivered to the end user. Medical self seal sterilization pouches provides protective envelopes for sterilization to protect against sterilization during disinfection, transportation, storage and delivery to the final home. Medical self seal sterilization pouches can assemble and secure several sterilization items required for a given surgical procedure and be ready for operation.   The term "sterilization" covers a wide range of products. A cotton ball, a cotton swab, and a tongue spatula are examples of "treatable products." Use them once and throw them away." Use once is not a synonym for cheap. Some very expensive sterilizations, such as dialysis filters, are themselves too fragile to be cleaned and reused after sterilization. To save costs, reuse is desirable. Most medical sterilization, such as sci

Reference Standard For Seal Verification of Sterilization Pouches For Medical Devices

With the increasing demand for  sterilization pouches  of medical devices, quality and safety inspection have become more and more stringent. sterilization pouches of medical devices (blister box +  tyvek roll  material,  sterilization paper bag , etc.) as a form of packaging directly in contact with the device and used to block microorganisms. No matter what form of packaging, it has two characteristics, which can meet the sterilization operation and remain sterile until the transportation conditions are used. Therefore, relevant departments began to focus on the review requirements of sterile packaging and make specific requirements for its performance and quality.   As we all know, GB/ t19633-2005 "packaging of ultimately sterilized medical devices" is one of the authoritative standards in the current sterile packaging standards. It is equivalent to iso11607-2003 "packaging of ultimately sterilized medical devices". Clarify the basic performance requirements of s

If You Think Your Pouch is Just a Pouch, Wait Until You Read This

Do you know what self sealing sterilization pouches are? If not, then read on to learn more about these amazing products. A self-sealing sterilization pouch is a bag that can be sealed and opened with one hand and contains an atmosphere that will destroy bacteria and other microorganisms in the bag's contents.   Self seal sterilization pouches   have been used for decades in hospitals worldwide because they offer excellent protection against contamination of medical instruments, surgical equipment, or pharmaceuticals during transport or storage. When self sealing sterilization pouches are used to package medical devices or pharmaceuticals, the self seal sterilization pouch provides a barrier that protects these products against moisture and contamination during shipping. This helps ensure that when your customers use them in their procedures, they will be safe for patient care. What do you truly understand about the sterilization pouches you use? What should you be aware of? What
